Music is a universal language.
Sound baths can shift your brainwave state to induce a state of relaxation and allow for deep and profound healing to occur.
In this ceremonial space, we will be using sound as medicine to facilitate a deep sense of peace. All you need to do during this experience is breathe and allow the sound vibrations to support a softening of the physical body, a calming of the mind, and a release of any stored emotions.
The ancient Yogis recognized the power of sound to heal and transform the human body. As such, they cultivated a daily practice of Havan honoring the sound and light from which all of the universe is constructed.
The physical body is where we experience the sensation of pain. Utilizing lower tones, we can stimulate the release of Nitric Oxide which has been proven by science to reduce the body’s sense of pain. Truly, there is a physiological response that occurs with the appropriate application of sound as medicine.
Using instruments like tuning forks, we can stimulate areas of the body that require support to release stored pain and emotional stress. We’ll work on supporting your subtle energy body using specific frequencies of sound which are known to help this opening occur. We’re not just physical beings, so we need to tend to the energetic body as well. As we layer the soundscape with varying tones, you’ll likely experience multidimensional healing.
Research has shown that sound healing can support a number of different diagnoses including:
Anxiety
Sleep Disorders
PTSD
Depression
Pain
Stress
No matter who you are, or what you come to this ceremony with… we can almost guarantee that you’ll leave feeling more peaceful and relaxed.
